Its great that most people on this thread are early risers, although sometimes Canadians get home from the cottage very late after a weekend.

With regard to the mineral rights, is it not the case that mineral rights that are not registered as property of heirs within two years of the holder's death revert to the state? I understood this to be the underpinning of the post '91 exploration and development policies of DME, consistent with section 17, the Green paper and precedent. As this is the heart of the interdict to be heard before the courts (Friday is now the day, according to SUF), we have may have to wait awhile, although I still believe negotiations will eventually settle most issues.

Has anyone heard anything from De Beers recently? Perhaps they've commented in RSA, as their people in Vancouver and London are mum?
How about the DME? Or anything new from NGS?
