Hi gregor, Don't completely understand your response to my post. I wasn't trying to be dogmatic about raising children. Just trying to defuse a little of the bible beating method of some parents. The way I see it, that's self-defeating for the adult & the child. Was just trying to say lighten up already and try to use levity whenever its possible. I know as well (I've three children)that sometimes we just need to answer "because I said so" to a child's "why can't I" query. After all, we're just human & can't expect perfection in any of our endeavors. Judging from your post to me, you seem to be a wonderful parent. I salute you. Sounds as tho' the blank pages you've filled with print are of the best quality you could accomplish. Congratulations and best wishes, Ann
