Yahoo Board? Those guys are all idiots. ( ;^)

<whats to stop a giant like Bay, Cisco, or Intel from taking it away from them.> (sic)

Well, that's the problem- people think MRVC competes squarely against Cisco; that you go to CompUSA and buy the hardware off the rack.

If that is what you think, any other crazy thing makes just as much sense. Heck, I want to short MRVC too- when it hits $30. (well, maybe- I might be too scared of a break-out, then)

IMHO, MRVC serves businesses of a size that cannot be served as effectively by CSCO or any jumbo corporation & the size business that it is less cost effective for CSCO to chase. That size business will be the largest growth segment of the networking enviornment in the next several years & MRVC has several years at least before it has to worry about a) growing to big to serve that segment and/or b) networking growth in that sector slowing. At that time, MRVC will have achieved the size & market share to re-determine its direction based on whatever the future technology & future market dictates. Can it effectively execute that shift when it comes and will they know when to do it and will current manangement be fit to lead at that time? All TBD, but MRVC continues to make all the right choices and will continue to reward investors who can hold the stock for a few years & those who watch it closely at the transition point & feel it is still successfull.
