Hello, I have not used the PNLK site extensively yet but it has the potential from what I have seen thus far to help a lot of companies find each other. A good trading contact is invaluable to importers and exporters. My company uses roughly 4 main trading partners in Japan and another 3 in Asia; I would not be able to put a price on these contacts because it took us a long time to find them and we have built a good relationship with them through the years. Without these trading partners, we would have no business and no daily information on our market. If PNLK can help facilitate this process of matching buyers and sellers successfully, it is impossible to put a value on it; it is absolutely priceless. I'm willing to bet that a lot of companies will find PNLK's site a useful tool for locating outlets as well as suppliers.

One thing I have written to Glen about is the need for a keyword search engine on the site in conjunction with SIC code searches. SIC codes are a broad measure of commodities that may not cover everything that is traded in global markets. Of course, SIC codes exist for all of the major commodities such as cotton, lumber, paper, etc but exotic and niche goods should also be addressed and searchable via keywords. There are a lot of companies that need this information that is not covered under normal SIC codes. My company has signed up with PNLK and we'll be checking it out over the weekend. I will be glad to give you my opinion of it's value when we've tried it out fully.

Regards,
Peter
