If there is no NSCP, will IE be freely included in winXX?

Yes I do. How long did it take the upstart Netscape to reach a virtual monopoly? Not very bloody long. In todays market, especially with the help of the Internet, if you don't have a superior product and support, people WILL go elsewhere.

I just started using IE yesterday. It has some superior features to Netscape (which I used for years, up until yesterday).

I also take issue with you that Gates is worried about the empire. This is philosophy and morality, not money. It is the constant struggle between looters and producers. My take is that Bill has finally reached a point where enough is enough. Even though I have 1000 shares - I would personally be willing to sacrifice them to win the battle.

When is the line in the sand to be drawn? Certainly it was drawn in the harbor over some tea whose tax which was a fraction of a percent. I wish the line had continued to be drawn somewhere on our countries ascent into the 50%+ tax I find myself today. Wouldn't it have been a good time to draw the line prior to ANY government handouts - when people achieved greatness by their own hand? The constant assault on the productive and the achievers is producing a nation of mediocrity.

Draw the line Bill
