Under the terms of the agreement, Citibank enjoys a perpetual license to use Netscape's line of Internet applications and server software to build an electronic commerce infrastructure. Citibank will license the Netscape(R) CommerceXpert family of packaged Internet Commerce applications as well as Netscape's line of server software including Netscape Application Server and Netscape Directory Server to build a service-ready infrastructure for the project. According to Citibank, Netscape's products deliver the flexibility, scalability, reliability, legacy integration and cross-platform support required for the project.
