Cheryl,
I think HP's lack of direction etc is good for SUNW. Let them suffer from their (in my opinion) stupid teamup with MSFT. Bill will steal their every idea, add it to NT, and move on. It's dangerous to rush into bed without a morning-after pill, at the least. HP is pregnant and no one knows who's gonna support its child. too bad.

cheryl: good points. It's obvious HP is grasping for straws. I have also noticed that their product quality has slipped. MSFT won't let them pursue the Java market unchecked, so MSFT throws them a little bone that they can take back at anytime. Anyone seen any heavy advertising for Java from HP? No way. In reality this only fortifies SUNW's position.
