Doug... Did you ever do a TA of the NVAL chart? I'd be interested in your comments.

Thanx.

Doug,

I recently have added to my vocabulary the noun "shake".
As in..."shake coming." "XYBR shake". Now I understand
this noun in my minimal way as it pertains to the trading day.
Does shakeout mean the same thing for longer trades as well?
(I suspect so, but am likewise asking the question for others
who may be as ignorant as I ... er...have been (hopefully past
tense.))

bdoug,

ELGT breakdown for me is at 3 1/8, and it is having some trouble pushing through and staying above longterm down from way back which is at 3 3/4 now . Bust through this and I would suspect a short blip to 4 3/4. I deem this measure according to flag continuation patterns.

With the SMI bouncing off its uptrend I would say a downsliding tornado is not in the weather, but maybe a gust or two.
