Thanks for the tip on Steve Goldman -- I checked out his thread "FROM THE TRADING DESK". This kind of knowledge is useful.

Bob, from a previous post you mentioned you have written IFMX calls at a strike price of $5. Did I understand this correctly? What percentage of your IFMX is this? I would consider this the same as selling (I don't think we will ever see IFMX anywhere close to 5 in the next two months; and would only see $5 if some terrible event affecting the general market or affecting Informix occurred -- I think we are seeing a bit of a post earnings decline but that we should see a runup to at least $10 (probably more) over the next two months).

If it ever happens that you do part with your Informix holdings, I certainly hope that you chose to stay around this thread and continue to contribute your thougthfully written posts. I think everyone here enjoys reading your posts and gets something out of them.
