>>Are we getting set for a 12th consecutive down day? Or can we break that 2 week streak??<< I don't know, I'm trying to figure it out. What I've seen is the Fed put a bad face on the interest rate thing. The DOW didn't like it... COMS is having lowest volume day so far during the 8 day streak. (But, I don't count 5/5 because that was before the CFO talked with DLG). It seems like there are casual buyers right around 29 1/4 or so. There really is no rush for them to start buying, as they see it. I do worry about institutions wanting to sell, in an orderly manner little by little. But, I'm not so sure that's easy to do, with the low volume as today. A good pt about today, was there was a temporary spike up. I thought it would last longer, but it didn't. To me it seems like some people are willing to buy soon. Unless it's traders, just trying to hook you in..... I seem to recall this happening a few times when COMS hit some low spots. But the low spots were around 30-32. Now it's dropped a few pts. Also, before, in the past we've had announcements by ANALysts, not always, but many times.... COMS is a hard one to figure out. You'd think that after a couple of 25million volume days. The storm would be over. But then it starts creeping down for a while. My feeling is that this stock has a rep for shorts, and they're the ones that are moving it down. Nobody else is doing anything. Then, a buyer eventually comes in and little by little it creeps up. Maybe at this point, margin players are getting squeezed out, and only die-hards are staying in. This cycle has occurred at least 3 times and probably more. The only difference with this one is that it's broken the 30 mark and stayed there. But, today has just broken the 8 day weird streak. This is a good sign. A few more of these and COMS will open up 1/2 pt or more, so it's hard to trade it during the day unless you short it - which I don't get into. The general market move is what worries me the most at this point. 10% corrections are talked about. I think this will depend on how the market perceives the earnings will be for the next few quarters.... Good luck... joe
