Thanks or the correction,

Mixed up 15000 with 50000 somehow (had the 15000 figure somewhere in my mind.

Speaking of mainframes; there are also several thousands of PCM (plug compatible mainframes) out there; mostly from Fujitsu. Don't know the exact figure.

I know the figures of mini computers; around half a million IBM type mini's (S/36, S/28, AS/400) in total I think.

THere is a huge replacement action going; replacing mini's with NT boxes with SAP R/3, Baan, JD Edwards, etc installed on it.

But time really gets awfully short for all co's starting to replace right now...
