The pickup in volume is usually indicative of a bottom forming.

I'm a bit concerned that when the stock hits a low point (e.g. each time today when it dipped below 8) all of a sudden there are very large trades made (20,000 and 38,000 were two I saw today). In more normal days, most of the trades are by small guys and the trade sizes are usually less than 6,000 shares.

Who are these traders who can jump on a momentary dip below 8 and trade 38,000 shares? I wonder whether this stock is controlled by a few and the individual investor has no chance of making money. I was planning on holding my BORL shares for a couple years but it's already been almost that long and the stock seems to keep going down rather than up. I must admit that the continual increase in the number of outstanding shares doesn't make me feel any better about the prospects.

You could be right about the volume being an indicator of bottoming but usually, when that happend, it is accompanied by a rebound from the day's low. Haning closed with bid and asks at the bottom, with this large volume, could not bode well for the short term. If the stock closes below 8 tomorrow then we may see the high 6 again. I did notice one thing which I find interesting. Just like last time, when it went down from 12 to just under 7, it is doing it one quarter 1/4 of a point each day. Only the last decline was more than that (BTW it Del's first post on this thread coincided with the stock hitting just under 7 and the start of the rebound). Have you seen how NOVL has broken its 52 weeks high just like I said it was about to do two days ago here (on this thread). So, Go BORL but buy NOVL... Ghassan.

Sam, what's your technical read on BORL right now? BORL's technicals suggest to me that we may see in the next week or so the start of a move up to around 10.
