Joe Kizis of Fairmile elected Vice-President, Geological Society of Nevada. Fairmile's Vice-President of Exploration, Joe Kizis, was recently elected to the position of Vice-President of the Geological Society of Nevada (GSN) for the year 1998/1999. The GSN is a non-profit organization whose principal objective is to promote the advancement of geological sciences, especially as they relate to Nevada. This prestigious organization consists of approximately 1150 geoscientists residing in about a dozen countries. The organization provides a venue for geologic descriptions of mineral deposits located throughout the world, and is known for its high-quality lectures, symposia, and publications.
