That is exactly why paying Dell at such high valuation is insane. When the PC landmark changed completely, when the PC++ manufactures has to do things other than marketing in order to stay competitive, It could be a question of survival for a company like DELL. Every dog has its day. Dell was no other than a dog for many years. It is enjoying a few good years now, primary because editors in PC magazine happened to like them (over Gateway) lately. XZ
