Charles, I remember offering my take on CD whereby I stated that it would trade in a tight range and that more bad news would befall CD.

Let's see since that time CD has traded up to $26 and has since announced:

1) delay of shareholders meeting till Fall

2) an earnings report that stated that it may be changed, we'll have to wait until final audit is conducted, July maybe.

3) class actions lawsuits up the ying-yang, almost daily. Is there not a law firm listed with the ABA that isn't filing?

4) dismisses Ernst & Young. I get it, they were in Vermont at Ben & Jerry's having a cone when they should have been counting all those beans. No responsibility should be born by CD's management, hey it was those damn beancounters fault. Right?

Lets see if our government was run in that manner we might get to hear tapes that sounded like this:

I'm really sorry about that nuke job Boris, one of those damn Adjudant General corp people must have thought it to be the little red button on one of their calculators. Yeah, Yeah that's it. It's not all that bad though, it was only a 115 Kilo-ton warhead, hell you know it could have been one of those multi-headed beasts we've got......chucks Boris....you don't mind, what did it take out... 80 million lowly peons.....what's the harm...you and I are fine, aren't we?

And today it closed at 22.38 about where it was the day I first made reference.

As the world turns, a new dawn of enlightenment is unveiled.

The sad part is that CD is an otherwise fine company with great prospects for the future. But I have a feeling that defending all these lawsuits will cripple the momentum and divert profits for some time to come. Class action lawsuits are some of the most costly to defend and each day more and more are being filed. All the bravado in the world will not sit well with the street in regards to the latest Ernst & Young caper. That's like pointing the finger at Mother Nature, and that's a no-no.

Of course in this case the carrot my have turned into the big green weenie.

Funny how they overlook 115 million dollars. Hey what is that green mound of cash piled three stories high? Oh I know you missed it because it was such a large amount that you thought you were vacationing in Vermont.

Oh that's right, you missed it because it was part of the acquisition and you didn't know what you were buying, is that it? That's astute!

Oh, your timely sale of $80 million dollars worth of insider stock just prior to this "MOUNTAIN OF OVERLOOKED CASH" was a coincidence.

Hey no problem, all us dumb bunnies will nibble on a juicy carrot while asking "Hey what's up, Doc?"

"They don't know me, do they?" Bugsy
