The problem is there are far more poeple fooled than there are aware of the impact of MSFT's practices. I believe the DOJ case is necessary.

MS has an advantage becuase no one has the same access to their APIs. They're leveraging that to get more advantages in other sectors. Breaking it up into OS / apps / internet / etc and then forcing the OS peice to publish the same APIs to the other peices and the rest of the industry shouldn't harm anyone. Don't you tink?

Erika,

When the marketplace is denied the opportunity to choose, it is very difficult for it to foster change. Not impossible, but surely very slow to come. Meanwhile you and I suffer with products that are far from innovative.
