Forget it. 10:1 margin can get you in DEEP trouble if things go against you. If you have a desire to Day Trade take your time, learn, and put you foot in the water VERY slowly.

Cheers!

Trevork:

After getting my JD upstate, I gave up law to get involved in this industry...a wonderful change. Yet, if you want my opinion, forget trying to day trade your account. If you are any good, go try to get yourself a mid-six figure at a firm or hedge fund with the goal being to open a firm or hedge fund of your own over time. That is where the real money is, in developing something with substance. Put your money in quality investments, keeping a reasonable portion for trading, taking profits where reasonable.

Traders are only as good as their last trade, they have nothing of substance, no business assets, no goodwill or other value that will last them when they take vacations, when they get sick and definately have nothing they can pass along or expect their family to rely upon in the event of something disasterous.

You don't see Cramer daytrading, Houtkin don't do it, and the Block Brothers, well they got acclaim for their chain of SOES shops...do as they do...learn from trading, and move on to bigger and better.

I know some up here might take issue with that, but, ifyou believe in the fact that I always tell it like it is, thats the way i Feel.
