Sorry to butt in here, but maybe I missed something... Please enlighten me -- are you saying that MSFT forces OEM's to preload MS-Office?? Or do they just make it attractive and profitable for them to do so?? Inquiring minds want to know <g>
Frankly, I'm not saying either. I was referring to the "open your minds" quote from the previous poster.

Certainly, Microsoft can't force OEM's to preload MS-Office, and they can and do make it attractive and profitable to do so. Likewise, Microsoft can't force OEM's to preload Windows 95, but they can and do make it attractive and profitable to do so. Doesn't mean there's no monopoly leveraging and unfair competition squashing going on.
