Joe Kernan on CNBC just gave employment figures for this year and last year - 17,800 employees today vs 11,800 a year ago. The CFO - is that Tommy Meredith? - said this is to be expected with employment in Asia and South America. That's a healthy sign that the company is doing well. Companies in trouble usually lay off workers.
I'm more worried about the impact of a possible antitrust suit against Intel. Any thoughts?
