I agree that this legal decision is indirectly beneficial to any ESD company.

But I do not see any negatives for WAVX. The judges ruling was properly narrow. E-datas patent covered a very narrow kind of ESD applied to a proprietary "vending machine" in a retail store. E-data was way out of line. BUt then again, I do not know enough about WAVX's patent to comment how "safe it is."

Doesn't TTN carry the patent for the three layer encryption contained in WAVX chip?
