Seth I don't want to pick it to pieces but I'm happy that they have a system that apears to be of such quality.There are many ways to set billing and invoiceing standards ,but the one that works best is the one that is developed with the integrity of the network in mind.The tempest being a processor based voice capable router "DVG" if you want,carries only enough data to pass the packets to the destination.In this senerio a billing server acts like a firewall to the outside and authorizes only those with the right passcode.You pass security and then your on the network,once you complete the call the server drops your line and billing stops.As long as yopu remain on line with the server you can redial a number after you communicate this with the server.The route taken is again verified by the server and a price model is put in place.When the call is complete the data base stores the data for processing.I find too many me toos and we first statements around these days seth.Ftel is not the first but they probably have something that is unique for their network,which is good I want to see a complete line of not only services but one of all the needed eq that is needed to become that world class VOIP carrier that we all have heard so much about.To think that a billing system was not in the works was a bit scarey.To hear it is up and running is a bit better.I want to make a lot of money here for all the agravation and Bs from Vs i figure if we get to 10 or better I can go back to playing Gin Rummy on tuesdays.Show me the money not a lot of baloney.
