Adrian - Re: " The Asus P2B supports up to a clock multiplier of 7.5"

What a nice board!

The local T-ZONE computer SuperStore is selling that board - and perhaps an even better Tyan 440BX board - both for $199!

The Intel SE440BX was priced higher at $266.

>>Asus P2B supports up to a clock multiplier of 7.5<<

According to its spec, the clock multiplier is x8.0.

Andrian, why is Asus P2B considered higher end than Abit BX6. According to Anand, BX6 can run at 133MHz with x3.5 of P-II/400, while P2B fails at 133MHz with this speed being an undocumented feature. How do Tyan 1846, DFI P2XBL, SuperMicro P6SBA, and Intel SE440BX come in to this?

Thanks for your input,
