Competition from AWARE: Did anybody buy AWARE (ticker: AWRE) after it horned in on what I thought was a PairGain lock, i.e, the US West ADSL services contract. I though AWARE was private; but, last week, after I saw that Lucent and AFCI linked up with AWARE, I discovered it is a public company. Again, has anybody been impressed with AWARE's technology and future prospects? This stock is also off its yearly highs. I am not a shill for AWARE (I don't own any)- - I am just checking it out relative to PAIR. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks. PS I assume that PairGain is down because of price cutting. But I thought that in a recent conf call somebody at Pair said the war (with Adtran?) was over. Any comments?
