What's the problem? :-) It was just something like...the 20expBBands were broken to the downside w/the day's early action, recent history shows the price will return to the top band; when is unknown. Other indicators showing more of the same; i.e., stalled or increasing oversold situation. What I mean is that after a 5+ (?) month hiatus of non-ownership in TT, I've decided to reenter the fray based on the statistical outlook of the stock's price. The jargon you saw pertains to specific algorithims which manipulate price, volume and time data to obtain different perspectives of the stock's action. Right now, it looks OverSold (OS). This means that the price has been driven (sold) to a point which is below the statistical norms for the attendant volume and time data. When you see a number of these indicators concurring, it may indicate that a reversal in the price action is imminent. It's a way to help one determine equity entries & exits. I sometimes drop my crib notes here rather than on paper. I hope to invite comments from other perspectives. It's also a way to keep me honest. By posting what I see in the charts I lift myself up for public ridicule should I be completely blind in my forecast. The charts today are similar to what they were in late January, prior to the USF announcement & run to $2.25. I'm hoping for a pop to 1 3/4, which is where I have a sell order in for 80% of my shares. This will net me some cash and let me ride the remaining 20% for free. Keep in mind, this is very near term, maybe 2 weeks, tops. Mid term, 2 weeks to 3-4 months is another story. Do this: print out a chart for the past year. Connect the tops from Sep '97 to April '98. Do the same for the bottoms. Use a straight line & approximate the slope w/a "best fit". This is your current trading channel. A sustained break out of the top line would be good, indicating a reversal (finally) & rising trend. Otherwise, you just extend the lines and you get a picture of where it's going... Long term, I'm still in the camp of "how, with the fundamental potential of such a technology, market & and platform, can you keep this stock down?" Long term I still feel it'll go. I'm just playing and learning as I go. :-) Sorry for the lengthy answer. For a public source on TA, try equis.com LB P.S. You been lukin'? How long? In or out (of TT)? I was drawn to central Quebec by the lure of Muskie in high school. Found lotsa big pike & walleye instead. What's w/the handle?
