Bernie: If you want to fly, do it now, don't wait for Nextel to help.

1. For the time of your life, visit Seattle, Kenmore Air Service. Get a lesson in a float plane, learn what fun flying is all about.

Good thing I didn't expect Nextel to fund my flying, I have been doing it for 20 years, have owned 25 airplanes, got a multi engine rating, instrument rating, land and sea. Buying, selling, flying those airplanes gave me enough money to buy lots of stock, buying and selling stock could never give me enough to buy 25 airplanes.

Not bragging Bernie, even if it sounds like it, just I never expected anyone on this thread to talk about flying.

Bernie, if you were to talk to Nextel about flying, as a airport controller, here is what you would say.

"Nextel, you have been cleared into position and hold, after all those cellular companies take off in front of you, you are cleared for immediate departure, accelerate your climb to area limits, make an immediate right turn to a heading of 180, climb and maintain an initial altitude of $ 35.50, contact departure control on the applicable frequency for radar vectors direct to your ultimate destination, have a good flight."

Regards from

Al G., retired from flying real airplanes in 1996 and retired from being bossed around by air traffic controllers.
