Hi Brian,

The campus went dry a couple of years ago after the Board of Regents voted to tighten up on alcohol consumption on campus and at the Frats, the good ol days are over. Wazoo folks had some pretty good parties in the days when I attended the school in the early 70's! From what I hear about the riot a bunch of students and others had a little bit too much to drink and decided to have a bonfire in the street protesting the drinking ban. It went on from there and some people got carried away!

I remember some pretty good parties in my day and a lot of us drove to Moscow, Idaho only 8 miles away where the drinking age at the time was 19. On Friday and Saturday nights that stretch of road had a lot of traffic!

Back on topic, I like CSCO, INTC, MSFT, and a few others long term. Short term I really like COMS (pretty beaten down here) Texas Instruments, AGPH (biotech). There are a lot of others and I will try to get you a list of them in the next few days. I am watching Greenspan pretty closely and we just dodged a bullet this morning when he left rates unchanged. August will be very critical to the market. I hope that the economy will slow down a little bit more. IMHO I think it will.

I still feel very comfortable holding Cisco here but the stock does get one or two corrections every year which just creates great buying opportunities. I am looking to hold the bulk of my position in it for at least the next 5 years. ( it could be longer but the radar I use doesn't look beyond that, technology just changes too fast these days.

regards

Eric
