since we love to debate everything on this thread, i went back and looked up original purchases relating to LGND. I first bought Glycomed back in 9/94 at about 2.375. It later merged with LGND and i'm too lazy to figure out the conversion but it was a good deal. Later, in 6/95, my first LGND purchase was at 7.375. make of it what you like guys. robert asked about BOP, what does it mean? it means money is coming back into the stock and, imo, as long as BOP stays green, good volume will move us to the upside. there's some resistance around 15.5 to 16 so we'll need continued strong volume to move us through there.

You can get a chart with any number of points between 10 and 100 if you just edit the URL line. techstocks.com Compared to several other biotechs both LGND and VICL did pretty well in the last 24 months. But of course they could not compete with the NASDAQ composite index COMP. Andreas

Here is another interesting chart. Agouron and Ligand compared with several leading technology stocks from 1996. I can't believe how well Dell performed. This stock must have been real cheap 2 1/2 years ago. techstocks.com COMP is the NASDAQ composite index. Andreas
