Two news releases about the current - future C6 chips came out around 12:30 eastern. IDTI was just around 10 at that time. Is there something negative in the releases or is this just a coincidence.

Has the new versions been pushed out a bit farther on the time line ?
I'm not certain what they previously stated on the new C6 release dates.

Charlie,

I get the same feeling that big volume guys know something that we don't. I got the same feeling with BAY a couple of months ago; however, that was a few weeks before BAY earnings release when leaks are pretty common and before major weakness hit the high techs. In this case earnings are out; company officials are talking about the products. I also smell a rat, but I don't see where it could be. Luckily I got out of BAY; but since I don't see the problem here, I'm buying more, assuming that these are herd sellers with the rest of the tech selloff.

I think a lot of the dumping was more out of a lack of visibility than anything else. The uP forum obviously didn't impress. We are probably at or near a bottom. Some TA investors would wait for a confirmation to the upside. That often takes a move up followed by a pull back and then a resumption of the move up. Most of the time you get a settling out period after a sharp decline. I don't think there needs to be a big rush to buy but in around this price is good.

If the institutions do some more selling that could drive the price down for brief periods and offer the chance to buy a bit lower but I don't think much lower. Too many people like myself who are now setting their lines in the water (limit orders) waiting for a bite.

Not to toot my own horn too loudly but
check my last 10 posts or so...they were
right on the money. No waffleing nada....

Give me a little credit...anyways.....
What is next for IDTI: .... well I still am not
buying....they are right back to square 1 at best
with the WinDchip . The part fell off the low end
performance wise no one wants a 180-200 mhz cpu
(see my post from early may) so now it is up to
the C6-2 to get them back in the game hmmm sounds
like a big risk as the C6-2 verification will be
much more risky as it is much more complex than
the C6...the mips business is and has been suspect
with the split with QED.The sram business is drying up
as the slot 1 mb's don't use external cache. No more news
on clear-logic so i just assume the worst there...I guess
the logic and speciality sram business is ok.....
Anyways maybe this is the bottom for the stock
....right at book value....but the future prospects
just do not look that good and if you look at
the recent statement made by the ceo about how
IDTI just needs to manage the growth with the worst days
behind us it is SCARY how wrong len was...
