You are wrong again. This nation was founded on getting away from state & Catholicism. It was founded on religon but not yours. Of course you dont believe in symbolism snd its ability to communicate hidden messages. Your dollar bill has the truth symbolized in many ways that the average person has seen and ignored; such as your scriptures that the mass of intelligent people who seek truth, will discard quickly. Because someone doesn't buy your faith makes it evil for them to show the fallacies, so you resort to praying for me to be rescued by the God you worship. Well I once was lost & now I'm found. I once was lost in your tradition and reminded at least 3 times a week I was a sinner and would burn in hell unless I believed in Jesus. Well as a child I had to learn from adults until I got to the age where it made no sense. Even went to a Christian school. Baptized when barely 12 yrs old.So you see I am a lot more aware than you can imagine. We had bible classes at Lipscomb and tests to see how well e knew it. At school we had a devotional every day and a mandatory attendace. It put a guilt complex on me you couldn't believe. Fear God? you bet your sweet ass I did. Love God? Someone who had created me without knowledge and even born in sin because a woman ate an apple in the beginning of the creation? I was constantly reminded not to question this teaching because it was from God directly to the inspired writers. If I had found some of the discrepencies I was told I just didn't put in in ccontext. This told me quick I was being misled because by then I was old enough to reason. I could not then nor have I ever been fooled again for I did seek and I did find. My present The Roman Catholic Church, state government created is where the bible and its beliefs were originated. Why didn't the Eastern religions, when all the Roman empire in Europe were believers, accept this word of God? What made the Jesus God better or worse than the other nations beliefs. They all are based on mythology and astrology. These commercial horoscopes are a big farce. The Romans destroyed the library at Alexandria and burned all the literature they could find. Then by force death to non-believers they were able to propigate this religion and prevent all others. Do you think a loving God would portray the evil, vindictive, actions of the God of the old testament and created women to be abused and blamed made slaves of the rearing of their children while they conducted their lustful lives in promiscuous sex. God's favorite people were murderers at his command. Why even Jesus preached to render unto Caesar what is Caesar's and unto God what is God's. Taxing unfairly wasn't enough so they were told to tithe the Roman Church also to please God. And someone asks me do I believe the bible is the word of God. Just because I survived with the loss of my legs I was informed that God was punishing me because I was a sinner. They even wanted to know what was so bad he did it. It immediately reminded me of the bible character Job who had friends(?) do him the same way. Who needs friends or preachers like that.
