On my Watley PC, I have 64 MB of RAM and run 12 candlestick charts, each tracking one stock with 3-5 indicators per chart, linked with matching quickquotes and time and sales. I run another another half dozen or so charts with two indices each. For example, industrials and nasdaq on one chart, tick and trin on another, etc. I also run minder with about 15 to 20 quotes.

This data is spread across four 21" monitors.

This week I created another page where I have cut back to about 6 stock charts. But I have kept all the indices charts. It has been stable. Next week I will go back to 12 stock charts to see if I need to increase RAM.

I just want to sort out in my own mind whether Watley or I am correct in where Monday's instability lay.

How have you fared? And what is your configuration?

Regards,
