Jane,

Sorry for whatever agita I may have caused you about this great little stock. Don't mind me --- I'm just a disgruntled former shareholder with nothing better to do than rile up unsuspecting loyal neophyte shareholders.

Optima has its problems but AmEx is a good company. Hopefully there will be some cash left after clearing all the legal probs., etc., to drill some holes in the great prospects that AmEx has lined up.

The great thing about this business is that you can wipe away all your sins of the past just by drillin' a hole and having a little luck.

Ted even got so riled up he tried calling me. I will have to pass for now, Ted, and I realize that I stepped in some dog doo-doo here and its time to gracefully bow out (if that's possible).

Hey, whatever happened to that snazzy new name they were gonna get? I say we should have a contest here to see who can come up with the best name for the new company. Here's my entry: PHOENIX ENERGY. As in mythology, this turkey's gonna rise from the ashes of Optima, triple in a year, and make one particular female shareholder quite pleased. <g>
