(Nasdaq:CMTR - news) Thursday announced that it has been notified by the U.S. Patent Office that it has been granted patent rights to its single use, re-armable, single-user safety finger stick device with multiple reuse capability. This is the first patent to be granted for ChemTrak's innovative lancet system used in several ChemTrak home tests. ChemTrak holds an additional 15 patents on other technology and has four patents pending.
