I second that observation. When it finally moves it will be very fast. We will probably not know until the next earnings and CC at the end of June. It sure makes for a good trading stock!

>>i know someone is going to say one or 2 quarters is not enough time to regain the streets confidence, but memories are short when you look at company in the network sector and also a leader in some areas.<<

I think you have to remember, that COMS has already spent at
least 1 good quarter in 'healing mode'. It's inventory
was out of control after the USRX buyout. This last
Dec-Jan. it went a long ways towards setting up a system
which they can keep track off consistently. The ANALyst
really like that - less work for them.

Also, COMS has cleared out inventories to much lower levels,
and has done work on cutting expenses (and continues to do
so). It's all part of getting the merger organized better.

The problem as I see it, is that selling x2 modems are harder than what most people realize - because of the standards war, and
because people think xDSL and Cable are right around the
corner. I don't buy that. The other technologies
have their numerous technical issues
to deal with and RBOCs will not be leading the Internet
ramp up with xDSL. RBOCs will only do so if absolutely
forced to. They could have had it out a long time ago
it they had really wanted to.

For a while, the x2 modems are the best solution (IMO)
and given a chance, they are good value compared to
the status quo.
