Its called tape backup. Not too expensive and you just schedule a nightly incremental backup with a once a month complete backup.
If your full backup is really 6 gig then this should be a manual operation if using a 3 gig cartridge.

Similar occurance on my Mac HD 2 weeks ago. Luckily for me the drive went bad right after I had backed everything up to a jaz disk in preparation to clean install an OS upgrade. Still it took me a week to be convinced the HD needed to be replaced, get the replacement and install everything back clean. I'm still fooling around trying to get the old organization back. You have my sympathies......

I spent a lot of time today reviewing trading machine configurations and hardware on your really excellent and helpful auxcillary web site. You guys here on the dream thread are really first class!!!!! My hat goes off to you all in gratitude.
