I don't think this one has a lot of merit (Level 3 doesn't even have a network yet) but if nothing else it will add to the amount of time WorldCom has to spend on lawsuits...and look at the tone of this article - it makes MCI sound like the reincarnation of Ma Bell circa 1900. This gradual change in the public's perception about MCI and WorldCom may be the real story.

the subtext might be that WCOM (and QWST) really personally dislike Crowe. i'm sure he's covered his butt legally but Crowe's actions toward both companies are deep in the gray area ethically in my book.
