Cary,

Settled in with some pleasure reading last night with a booklet I got in the mail, yesterday.

It was entitled "Annual Report 1997, APCO, Driving Our Business Into the Future".

I wonder what the turnaround time is from when this is written to when shareholders actually receive it. For this would more definitively pinpoint the interesting comment on page two, paragraph one of the letter to shareholders: "A new line of products is scheduled for release within the next few weeks."

I know we are expecting news regarding new products, but it's nice to see the promise in print, and the fact that it is coming soon. The follow-up statement that " The stage is set, we believe, for continued growth in the number and quality of dealers doing business with us and developing programs with major companies to increase our business" was pleasing to the eye as well.

The fact that I increased my position by 40% at 10 7/8 on Monday is looking mighty fine as I read through this material. That's my report: "Averaging up, with APCO".

Marc

Any thoughts on today's action on AIRM and GTNR? Price seems anemic. However, volume on AIRM is on a steady increase, while volume on GTNR declined today (although still not bad). Have we peaked short term, or are we establishing a base for short term future growth?

Given today's volume, I think AIRM is about to jump up, but I'm not confident about the future direction of GTNR (either up, down or steady). The broader market scares me right now, so I'm playing it day to day.

April orders were up 50%. Pretty good huh!

Now for the techical side; this is what I wrote 3 weeks ago
on April 28th.

Sentiment is horrible, and it is hard to tell where the downside is. For about 3 weeks in
December the stock traded between 16.5 and 17.5. I think that $17.5 may be as low as we
close on this thing.
