SOME THOUGHTS ON SOME ISSUES I've gotten some PM's asking about why so many dgiv-a-holics are over on the ICVI thread and does that mean that they are bailing from dgiv. NO! I can only speak for those that I talk personally with, mainly our "leaders" and some other frequent posters. I can assure you they tell me they would never sell one share of dgiv for icvi or anything else for that matter. They see icvi as a short term play to get some extra mullah to plow back into dgiv. Having said that, we should realize that we are each individuals responsible for our own investement decisions that freely chose to come together to share DD and provide mutual support. Gee, that sounds like a really American thing to do, doesn't it? None of us (that I am aware) are professional investors, or if we are we are not here in any official capacity. This is an internet board! :-) Which brings me to the second issue. Yesterday there were some questions about "inside information" being here. If there is, I sure would like to know it, cause I ain't gettin' it :-) What happens is that there is such good DD being done, and shared, that it almost seems like inside info. I don't even know what inside info is, but I've been told that examples are getting info through extortion, or other illegal means, and using it to profit by, etc. It goes without saying that we don't do that :-) In fact, the info on this thread is "outside info," as far from inside as you can get, because it is individual DD freely shared with all. For example, I saw in Roger's newsletter that JC was to travel again soon, and that was followed right away by a comment on their new Middle East presence. So I speculated that JC's next trip might be to the Middle East, even though I have never spoken with him and have no fricking idea where he is going or when. I still don't know. I notice this morning Byron speculated the same thing. I usually state that I am guessing, or reading between the lines, while others have a more direct way of putting things, such as "JC WILL go to the Middle East." Well, if JC goes to the Middle East, some may think that we have "inside info." If he doesn't go to the MIddle East, they forget that we said anything :-) Well, enough about that. The last thing is about these doldrums that we are in. I have surmised from the newsletter, and from other's DD that we may be in a quiet period of sorts, with the filing to be submitted by the end of next week. As I said before, if anyone can not wait until this filing, they should not be in dgiv. Go load up on ICVI and cross your fingers real good, or better yet go to Vegas for instant gratification :-) But if you are long, you should be using this time period to chill out and enjoy life, cause it will heat up when the filing comes out. Enough philosophizing....
