>>Intel to loosen PII chipset stranglehold<<

Does that mean Socket-7 and super Socket-7 is even closer to extinction than we previously thought? Socket-7 is becoming an "endangered species", and super Socket-7 is "still-born".

Good trading,

<off topic>Are Wall St. analysts ever right? Analog Devices (ADI) has 11 strong buys, 2 buys and 1 hold from its analysts. Today it missed its quarterly estimate by 25% (after accounting for special items) and its stock is down by 21%. As the saying goes, if they liked it at 35, they must love it at 27!

BTW, anyone know who the one "hold" analyst is, and his opinion on AMD?
