NEWS FROM WTC This release just came out ... VANCOUVER, May 22 /CNW/ - Western Copper Holdings Limited TSE:WTC The Company announces that it has agreed, subject to regulatory approval,to carry out a 200,000 unit private placement at a price of $7.20 per unit. Each unit will consist of one share of the Company and one-half of a share purchase warrant, one whole share purchase warrant entitling the purchase of one additional share of the Company at $9.20 per share for two years. Anyone want to guess why they need an extra $1.4 million ?

Each one Warrant will entitle the holder thereof to acquire one Common Share at a price of $0.25 per share any time on or before 4:00 p.m. (Vancouver time) on December 9, 1998.
