even though this is alittle OT, the fact remains that Dell may be maturing, as is msft, according to CNN. So the phenomenal growth will slow and the phenomenal multiplier will drop. This still does not mean Dell is not a growth stock nor does it mean Dell won't continue to outperform the market, even maybe the nasdaq. I believe there are people on this thread that did buy into Dell 2-3 years ago and have emassed a huge fortune. Personally I have only been in Dell 6 months and am quite pleased with the results. However, to become a Dellionaire Dell would need to continue on its historic path for another 2-3 years. I am not convinced that will happen. Nor am I convinced it will tank. I have to echo a question Ken asked, and I'll paraphrase, "OK guys, so what will be the NEXT Dell"? Also I should point out that the threat of losing a big percentage is only as big as the threat of Dell tanking. Being short term gains, the threat of losing a big percentage if I sell Dell now is 100% certain. I think there are alot of us that, worst case, pray Dell only drops to a buy.
