The definitive source for book to bill information is semi.org, since it's their data. They don't present it in a very accessible manner, though. During the last cycle, I think the equipment book to bill lagged the chip market by about 1 quarter. That is, I think it turned down later and recovered later. I also think sector stock prices recovered before the book to bill did. Unfortunately, I can't remember where I saw the graphs illustrating these relationships. Katherine
