Company Press Release
DCH To Commercialize Modular PEM Fuel Cell Developed By Los Alamos National Laboratory
SHERMAN OAKS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 21, 1998--DCH Technology, Inc. (DCH)(OTC:DCHT - news) is signing a Cooperative Research And Development Agreement (CRADA) with Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) to commercialize a patented Circular Fuel Cell Stack. This demonstrable fuel cell uses a proton exchange membrane (PEM) to convert hydrogen gas into electricity. Fuel cells are used to provide a versatile and reliable souce of electricity. DCH's fuel cell system is modular, scaleable and can deliver a peak power of 50 to 500 watts of renewable, clean power by utilizing circular fuel cell stacks.

DCH will manufacture and distribute the modular fuel cell system to the following industries: aerospace, nuclear, communications, medical, personal transportation and residential power. Glenn Rambach, an internationally recognized fuel cell and energy system specialist, states ''it is highly significant to have a leading hydrogen technology company like DCH enter the fuel cell arena, which could have a combined market size of $3 billion within the next five years.'' Community Power Corporaton has already committed to purchase, deploy and logistically support the fuel cell system in emerging markets in Asia and Latin America

DCH's proven sensing and feedback control technologies are incorporated into each stack to optimize performance and reliability., Dr. Mark Daugherty, DCH Chief Scientist, formally advanced systems project engineer at LANL, stated, ''compared to conventional fuel cells. DCH's modular fuel cell system provides lower cost, lower weight and less maintenance. In the near future, DCH fuel cell technology will be deployed on a worldwide basis.'' The industrial teammates working with DCH will be announced shortly.

LANL, an expert in fuel cell development and applied chemistry, will be performing optimization analysis, modeling and testing in support of DCH's commercialization. DCH will be demonstrating the production configuration of this Modular Fuel Cell System at the internationally attended National Hydrogen Association (NHA) Tenth Annual Meeting in Alexandria, VA.

DCH Technology is a technology development and manufacturing firm specializing in patented and proprietary gas sensor and safety products that are sold to industrial and government customers worldwide. DCH's core technologies include the Robust Hydrogen Sensor, the Thick Film Hydrogen Sensor, the Fiber Optic Sensor and the Universal Gas Sensor. The current market for gas sensors is $1 billion and is rapidly growing. DCH technologies are currently being used by NASA, Westinghouse, Northrop Grumman, and other large multi-national companies. Those interested in fuel cell technology should take a look at
this stock DCHT.

Went from $1.50 to $8.00 in less than 1 month.

With only 10 million shares out, they announced today that they
have acquired a fuel cell technology from Los Alamos Nationla
labs and a contract.

Ballard is too rich for my blood but i feel this could be the next one
