Hey Dan With all due respect, The answer that nancy gave was less persuasive than Sam's comments. To say that you only have to have some facts in common and that there must be something to it, or so many people wouldnt knock it is not a very persuasive answer.(No offense Nancy) It really didnt address the meat of Sams posts. As far as my leanings, I have been very open and honest about where my own personal predispositions lie. The thing that I find very interesting about this whole arguement is that weather either side wants to admit it or not, You both have more in common than not in common. Sam is essentially agreeing with the underlying concept of Christianity. It appears that he believes in many of the basic tennents of Chiristianity(or at least what I understand them to be) It is the story and ritual surrounding chrisitianity that he disagrees with.

Well how can a man author a prophecy after the fact such as the bible prophecies? I can go back in history and make prophecy that was true because it already happened. You guys really struggle with the truth. Truth without reason and by faith alone will lead to disaster; whether for an individual or a country. It destroyed the Roman empire. Because they promoted evil and claimed the blessing of God allowed it as long as they repented when death was near. Slavery, rape, murder, theft. You name it. It seemed to make up God's favorite people. Is that the way I should find to please God. In your small world it is unusual for someone to enter with a spiritual awakening rather than bythe bible. There are more and more people finding the truth in their inner being. My next post I will post the beginning of an online book Book that will further explain levels of consciousness.
