There is another one called the Millenium Crash
I have been captivated by the 'global financial calamity' syndrome
from time to time...... Especially those found in the various wave
theories including Ravi Batra. But I have always been careful to use
them as filters rather then reality.

I've come to believe the syndrome is closely related to television news
and movie mania penchant for destruction of all kinds and the 'vulnerability'
that comes with lost identity and autonomy....in all of its' definitions.
Unconsciously the media creates a false set of synclinal pressures
that cannot resolve themselves. We are constantly bombarded by knowledge
that we can do nothing with....and feel effective in altering as much
as we would wish too.

Never been either a TV watcher or movie goer.......so these are just
observations, but they both make there livings by feeding you the worst first.
Jim Leher and world news and local weather is about all I can handle.

If we are going to enter a period of German deflation I had better learn
to make soap or some useful product to trade...or better yet 'Beer".
