Nortel gets $15 billion contract from SBC for network equipment.

I am posting this release because of the persistent rumors of a buyout by Nortel.

This post is just stupid. House is not spreading these rumors. It's just a plain fact that combination of companies make for stronger offerings. Whether you like it or not, BAY has got big market share and areas of strong technology.

I have friends at Northern Telecom and they say they want and need a company like BAY. They would probably be better off buying Cisco, but that is not possible.

This is a fact going forward, companies will combine efforts in voice and data to make stronger offerings.

Cisco is a great company. But you can not expect the rest of the world to roll over and play dead.

Regards,

Mark

OK, if you would like to go with CSCO. You just put money there.

CSCO is a good company, but can they sustain growth like before.
Check their the latest quarter revenue, you will find there growth
already has been slow than before. Probably they will have a
stronger quarter because this is the 4th quarter of fiscal year(most
of hi-tech companies also will have good 4th quarter).

The big problem is if they can not sustain growth like before, this
stock will be busted, because it is very very overvalued stocks.
Go ahead to find out, how many stocks that can trade 10 times of their
sales.

Adam, I have read you posts over the last year.

However, I now think I have figured you out.

1. You like like to receive email, even if it is neg.

2. You have no idea on whats is going on.

3. You trying to re-defined the definition of the word "asshole"!

Items 1 & 2
are a guess on my part an I am not really sure if they are true.

Item 3. I congratulate you in having been successful in its attainment.

Regards,
John
