Something that I read yesterday, Orangemicro--who makes pc cards for MAC users, stated that their new card uses IDT's chip if it's the cheapest one available. If not, they use Cyrix or amd. Not a huge market, but IDT's winchip will end up in some macs.

It seems the market has temporarily forgotten that at the low end, IDTI will make more money per chip than anyone else no matter what the price point because of the small die size. Perversely, SIZE DOES MATTER, except bigger isn't better in this case!!
