Sorry guys but leaving your browser open or "connected" has no benefit for password access. There is no connection between your browser and any server, Datek or otherwise - although things like the streamer are different. Your browser merely remembers the userid and password once you give it so you don't have to give it every time. But each time you try to access the server is a new time and your userid and password are given anew.

The way it works is that the first time you try to access the server, the attempt is made without userid and password and the host complains. The complaint causes the browser to ask you for it and then the browser remembers it and retries the first access with the userid and password and succeeds. All future access to the same host automatically includes the remembered userid and password. If you close your browser, however, the browser forgets this info so the next time you start it up you will have to provide the userid and password again.

So, there is really no magic here about leaving your browser open. If you can't get in because of password failure and you are using the same password as yesterday, leaving your browser open all night would not help.
