I believe we have finally lost both the irrational traders and the scared money. Now, Nortran will begin to reward the rational, cool-headed investors that do understand their company (contrary to what Mr. Forthright says). I feel good now.

I remain,

SOROS

Ed,

I haven't seen the latest Investor's Digest, but Michael states that Golden Capital and not Gordon Capital has put out the buy recommendation on Nortran. I suspect Gordon Capital will also put out a buy recommendation shortly.

Edward, it is difficult to time the market if not impossible. However, on any speculative issue, and I still consider NRT speculative, how much profit is enough? A 100% gain in about 6 months is pretty good and calls for me to take money off the table, but not all. That is why I maintained my 30% core position in NRT right up to the news. But when a stock turns sour as fast as NRT did, I will bail and look for another re-entry point.

I do plan to re-enter for the longer term once again. It is "free money" now. However, scanning these threads also reveals many other buses.

I do not consider GIB.a speculative, and yet look at the returns that stock has provided shareholders. It recently split 2 for 1 (yesterday). This is the 3rd time in 9 months that the stock has split 2 for 1. Now THAT is what I call exceptional shareholder return.

I am impressed with NRT's management & accomplishments thus far. I hope they have marketable drugs before the baby boomers all retire!
