".I think this is likely to be delayed." Just a general statement or do you have a information that you are basing that comment on?

I have not followed the company that closely the last 3 months. Were
there any new sources of financing secured, or are we still looking for a secondary next year?.............;^)

The only thing I've heard is that they plan on financing sometime this year.

If they can do debt it seems reasonable they will, just like they did back in OCT. 180 million 10.5% with some warrants to sweeten the deal.. and that would leave us with alot less shares then what the analysts have been basing their prices from.

In Lehman's last upgrade they also stated that they thought their estimates of 45 for year end may be too conservative based on the fact that CD Radio has been signing 50% revenue contracts with the established content providers.

BTW: Lehman also has this stock on their "restricted list", which is normally an indication of some financing soon.
cheers

Yee Haw. A nasty 3 point pop this afternoon. I attribute this to bad karma that lately seems to be tracking every trade I make. Time to cover yet?

CDRD is banking on being able to launch in Q4 1999......I think this is likely to be delayed/

This doesn't make sense to me. I can see no reason why a Hughes Built, PanAmSat going bust is going to affect CDRD's plans for Loral Built sats. Loral lost a GEO last year too, but it hasn't delayed any services except for the one that GEO was designed for. In other words, unless something happens to a CDRD sat, or there's something else to delay its launch, I don't see how you can come to that conclusion.
