Okay Jim, we've got this super-stupendous JIT/BTO model right? It works like like a Timex watch ("takes a licking and keeps on ticking"). Now, let's redefine the Dell's business as the assembly business rather than the computer business. Where does that take us? In other words, to what other businesses can this model be applied? That's where we can look for the next Dell -- oe maybe that's where Dell can show up next!
